Synchronized Skating

Synchronized skating is a specialized discipline of figure skating. With 8-16 skaters on each team performing choreographed routines to music as one unit. Synchronized skating focuses on the accuracy of formations by combining the artistry of figure skating with the execution of circles, blocks, lines, wheels, intersections, creative and no hold elements in unison to music while demonstrating quality edges, power and flow.

We like to have fun at synchro, while building a competitive program we also build a TEAM. A fun and inclusive unit that celebrates each other while building our core skating skills.

Star 4 Team - Beginner level

Star 6 Team - Skaters have passed Canskate Stage 6. Skaters must have passed Star 1 Skills prior to any competitions.

Star 8 Team - Skaters are working on Star 3-Gold levels.

Adult 3 - Skaters need no synchro experience. Skaters must be confident in skating in close proximity to other skaters. Skaters must be comfortable skating forwards and backwards and able to do C Steps and 3 Turns.

2025/2026 Season

Tuesdays 6:15-7:15pm Youth team

Tuesdays 8:45-9:45pm Adult team

Fees (ice and coaching) will depend on the number of skaters.

Additional costs like dresses, accessories and competition fees will hopefully be covered by additional synchro fundraising. A Synchro fundraising plan will have to be made by the team manager(s) and the parents/skaters.
